Qilin Community Call #10 Recap: V2 Closed Beta
Qilin’s community call #10 was held on the 25th of September. In this call, we reviewed Qilin V1 Protocol and presented the community a brand-new 2.0 Version , supporting permissionless creation and trading for both linear and inverse perpetual contract pairs for any ERC-20 assets. 1. About Qilin Protocol & Qilin V1
Qilin Protocol is a Permissionless Index Contracts Trading Protocol with Peer-to-Tranches Liquidity.
This June, Version 1.0 has been launched with permissionless as a feature. V1 is a beta testing version for a peer-to-pool liquidity model based on one linear perpetual contract pair (ETH/USDC) .
The updated 24-hour trading volume has reached 110,000 USDC and 24-hour liquidity scale has been 198,815.0406 USDC, which shows a huge future potential in decentralized derivatives trading market.
2. Qilin V2
Based on the user feedback and development goal, the newest Qilin V2 has made a progress, supporting permissionless creation and trading for both linear and inverse perpetual contract pairs for any ERC-20 assets.
Below are some important new features that need to be highlighted:
- supports permissionless creation and trading for index contracts for any ERC-20 assets
- applies Uniswap-V3 oracle price feeding
- upgraded the liquidation system to support real-time liquidation
- added open-Price slippage mechanism to further reduce the risk of liquidity providers
- implemented stateless system with much lower GasFee
Full Features will be released in Qilin V2 public beta, we are gearing up for the forthcoming launch of Qilin V2, please stay tuned. In this V2 closed beta, you can also experience the upgraded decentralized derivatives functions.
3. V2 Closed Beta
As we announced before, Qilin V2 has been launched on Ethereum Rinkeby Testnet. Testing will last for 2 weeks.
3.1 Purpose of Closed Beta
To test Qilin V2’s servers, contracts, infrastructures, processes ready for launch. This is a full process and functional testing. By price intervention on Uniswap, we ideally can realize the trading strategy and change the business status or value in Qilin.
